Rich Text Format has been around for many years. Documents in RTF format are produced and consumed by many applications.

Aspose.Editor supports over 95% of control codes included in the Rich Text Format Specification 1.8, which makes it an excellent tool for working with documents in RTF format. Aspose.Editor can read RTF of earlier specifications and can also read more advanced (1.9 which came out for Word 2007). Aspose.Editor just supports the RTF keywords at the 1.8 specification level. If it encounters any newer keywords, it ignores them.
