Aspose.Editor opens, reads and writes HTML and XHTML documents. Documents produced by Aspose.Editor comply with the HTML 4.0 and XHTML 1.0 Transitional specifications. HTML documents that are not well-formed still can be opened in Aspose.Editor without causing errors.

When converting HTML/XHTML to and from Microsoft Word document formats, some formatting can be lost. The reason is that Microsoft Word document model does not map well to HTML (for example there are no tab characters or headers and footers in HTML).

Saving any document in MHTML (ready for email) format is also available.
