Before beginning to design and run the samples, you must complete the following measures.

1. Install Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2005. Make sure that Reporting Services have been installed and working normally.
2. Database Preparation

In the samples we use the AdventureWorks sample database that ships with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services 2005. Please make sure that the database has been installed.

3. Install Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services. Please check the Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services Installation guide to learn about how to install and configure Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services.
4. Login into your report server and create a folder named “samples” on Reporting Services Home which will be used to store our report samples.
5. Login into your report server and create a shared data source named “AdventureWorks” on the sample folder. The report samples will use this data source to connect to SQL Server AdventureWorks database. Make sure that “Enable this data source” option is checked.
