Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services is a unique and robust solution for SQL 2000,
2005 and 2008 Reporting Services, which provides the capability to use various configuration
parameters to control the output of resultant PDF. It gives the ability to specify
Page Orientation, create List Of Contents, include HTML formatting, specify Security
settings, define page size, add XMP metadata, set PDF conformance i.e. PDF/A, add
EndNote & FootNote and much more. Most of the RDL report elements including Sections,
Headers/Footers, Textboxes, Images, Charts, Lists, Tables, Matrices, Styles, Rectangles
and lines are supported by Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services, allowing you to generate
the highest quality PDF reports.
In this demo, we utilize the AdventureWorks 2008 sample reports to demonstrate the
capabilities of Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services. The AdventureWorks 2008 sample
reports are a set of predefined report definition files that use the AdventureWorks
2008 databases as data sources. You can select any one of the eight reports to view
and export them using Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services to PDF format.
How to run demo?
- Go to
http://apps.aspose.com/ssrs-rendering-extensions/pages/folder.aspx
- Click AdventureWorks 2008 Sample Reports link.
After the report is generated and shown in browser, select Export link and select
PDF via Aspose.Pdf link.
- Click on any desired report (For example, Company Sales 2008 etc.).
- After the report is generated and shown in browser, select Export link and select
PDF via Aspose.Pdf link.
You can see that Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services fully supports all of the RDL
specification and exports reports as PDF document in such a way that they appear
identical to reports produced by Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services’ built-in
renderers.
