Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services is a comprehensive reporting solution which is the only one of its kind that enables you to generate native Excel reports in Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 Reporting Services. In this demo, we utilize the
AdventureWorks 2008 sample reports to demonstrate the capabilities of Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services. The AdventureWorks 2008 sample reports are a set of predefined report definition files that use the AdventureWorks 2008 databases as data sources. You can select any one of the eight reports to view and export them using Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services to one of the six supported file formats.
How to run demo?
- Go to http://apps.aspose.com/ssrs-rendering-extensions/pages/folder.aspx
- Click AdventureWorks 2008 Sample Reports link.
- Click on any desired report (For example, Company Sales 2008 etc.).
- After the report is generated and shown in browser, select any output format supported by Aspose.Words and click Export link.
Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services fully supports all of the RDL specification. You can design and deliver reports into Microsoft Excel directly using Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer taking advantage of all of the powerful functionalities / features available in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Interactive Charts, VBA, Macros and Formulas. Aspose.Cells for Reporting services supports both Reporting Services formulas and Microsoft Excel dynamic formulas.
