Upgrade Policies

At Aspose, our primary goal is customer satisfaction. We realize how the needs of a company or needs of a project can change very unexpectedly. In order to be as accommodating as possible, Aspose has devised a very flexible upgrade path. If you have purchased an Aspose product license, for up to one year you can deduct the original cost of the product from the new product price.

For example: if you purchase a Site Subscription of Aspose.Pdf for $1396 and later need to upgrade to an OEM Subscription (normally priced $2094) you would only pay the difference between the two, $698. Please note that upgrading the license will not change the expiration date of your subscription… it will remain the same.


What can be considered as an upgrade

Upgrading means the following situations.

  1. Upgrading from a lower pricing plan of an individual product to a higher pricing plan of the same product. For example, Upgrade from Aspose.Excel Developer Professional Subscription to Aspose.Excel Developer Enterprise Subscription. You can not upgrade from Aspose.Excel Developer Professional Subscription to Aspose.Word Developer Enterprise Subscription.
  2. Adding more products to Aspose.Custom. For example, You have got Aspose.Custom which includes Aspose.Word and Aspose.Pdf, now you want to add Aspose.Pdf.Kit into Aspose.Custom. When you upgrade it, please make sure you need to choose Aspose.Word and Aspose.Pdf as well as Aspose.Pdf.Kit.
  3. Upgrading from Aspose.Custom or individual products to Aspose.Total. For example, You have purchased Aspose.Custom Developer Enterprise Subscription which includes Aspose.Word, Aspose.Pdf and Aspose.Excel, now you want to upgrade to Aspose.Total Developer Enterprise Subscription.
  4. Renewing the annual subscription when it's expired. The annual renewal subscription price is 30% discount off.


How to upgrade an existing order

  1. Place a new order which can be consider as an upgrade of an existing order.
  2. Follow the shopping procedures till you come to page http://www.aspose.com/purchase/checkout.aspx
  3. Click the "Upgrade Order", then enter your existing Order ID. If your new order can be considered as an upgrade of your existing order, you just pay the difference to get the new license.

Please note that only when your upgrade is considered valid, can you get the difference between the upgrades. Otherwise, you can not upgrade an existing order. Since upgrade cases are quite complicated, if you fail to upgrade your existing order, please report to our sales staff then we will try to sort it out manually.
