Below we have answered the most common questions we are asked about this change.

I have Aspose.Grid. How will this change effect me?

If your subscription of Aspose.Grid is still valid, you can upgrade to Aspose.Cells for free. For more information, please post your inquiry in Aspose.Purchase forum.

I bought Aspose.Grid but my subscription has expired. How can I renew my subscription?

All stored Aspose.Grid orders are automatically upgraded to Aspose.Cells. However, since your subscription has expired, you have to renew your subscription to use the latest releases of Aspose.Cells. For more information, please post your inquiry in the Aspose.Purchase forum.

If I use Aspose.Cells for .NET, do I have to re-write the code that I wrote for the Aspose.Grid component?

Aspose.Grid API is copied into Aspose.Cells as a separate namespace. There are no changes in the API itself. In short, you do not have to rewrite your code. You will have to make a few minor changes, for example referencing Aspose.Cells instead of Aspose.Grid in your projects.

You can read the Aspose.Grid API online (as it is after the integration into Aspose.Cells).

For more details please consult Upgrade from Aspose.Grid.Desktop to Aspose.Cells.GridDesktop Control and Upgrade from Aspose.Grid.Web to Aspose.Cells.GridWeb Control. If you have any technical questions regarding this, please post in Aspose.Cells forum.

I already have Aspose.Cells. Can I use the new Aspose.Grid features?

Sure. If you are an Aspose.Cells customer and your subscription is not expired yet, you are free to download the latest release Aspose.Cells for .NET v4.8.0 and start using Aspose.Grid APIs from now. However, if your subscription of Aspose.Cells has expired then please renew your subscription and take benefit from these extended features.
