License Name Change, May 2011 Sensible licensing is central to any software business. In May 2011, Aspose reviewed its licenses and updated the web pages that describe them to help our customers better understand our licensing model. As a result of this review, we decided to change the name of two of the licenses: - Developer Enterprise is now Developer Small Business
- Site Enterprise is now Site Small Business
The term enterprise can be used to mean a lot of different things and it is often used to mean "large business". Our licensing model is flexible and works equally well for small, medium and large companies. We changed the name to reflect that our licenses are sold in batches for one (developer) or up to ten (small business). Companies that need more licenses, buy more packages. We give discounts for multiple purchases so that everyone can afford our products. How will the name change affect you? Hopefully, you agree that the new way we present our licenses makes them easier to understand. The name change doesn't affect you, except that when you look at your account, or when we send renewal reminders for your subscription, you'll see the new license name. To find out more, read about our licenses. Rembember that they are supported by subscriptions that give you software updates and support to help you get the most out of your product. |
