What is a product family? |
| Product families are our way of describing a group of products that are related by common functionality. An example of a product family would be Aspose.Words for .NET, Aspose.Words for Java, Aspose.Words for Reporting Services and Aspose.Words for JasperReports, these products would all be members of the Aspose.Words product family. |
Is the product family option good value? |
| Yes! The product family option is the most cost effective way to purchase our components. For example if you needed to buy both Aspose.Words for .NET and Aspose.Words for Reporting Services both on a Developer Enterprise subscription this purchase would cost you $1,546 after our multiple product discount. Alternatively, If you were to buy the Aspose.Words product family option, you would receive all of our Aspose.Words products (.NET, Java, Reporting Services and JasperReports) for just $1,499, a substantial saving as well as gaining several extra components that may be used to build other solutions. |
If I buy the product family option am I entitled to use the product on various platforms? |
| Yes, if you purchase the product family option for an Aspose product then you will be licensed to use that product across all four technology platforms that we support. For example, if you were to buy the Aspose.Words product family option then you will be licensed to use our .NET, Java, Reporting Services and JasperReports versions of the Aspose.Words components. |

Can I download a product family trial similar to the Aspose.Total trial? |
| You can download trial versions of each Aspose product individually from the download section of our website but the product family option is a purchase option not the name of a product suite; so a single download containing all products available within each product family is not available. |
Can I upgrade a previous purchase to a product family option? |
| Yes. To be as accommodating as possible, Aspose has devised a very flexible upgrade path. Please read more about our upgrade paths. |
I am planning to buy the product family option for Aspose.Words but I have no need for the JasperReports component, can I omit this from my purchase and receive a discount? |
| No, not at this time. Aspose product families offer the best value for money for our components. It is possible that you may be eligible for a discount through other means, read more about discounts. |
If I buy more than one product family option is my order eligible for a discount? |
| Yes, if you buy more than one licence of a product family option then your order will be discounted. |
