Australia, Sydney – June 30, 2009Aspose, one of the leading vendors of .NET & Java components and Reporting Services rendering extensions, is proud to announce the Q2 2009 releases of its Aspose.Total suites for .NET, Java and Reporting Services. The Q2 releases of Aspose.Total include several new features and updates for all product lines to help developers in building more reliable and robust solutions with less effort.

New Additions & Improvements

In Q2 releases, there are many new additions and improvements that are briefly discussed below for each Aspose.Total suite.

Aspose.Total for .NET

Aspose.Words for .NET now supports exporting documents or pages as XPS (XML Paper Specification) as well as exporting PDF documents that comply with the PDF/A-1b standard. It also provides support for Glossary documents when loading and saving Office OpenXML. It is now possible to directly export Excel files to PDF stream with Aspose.Cells for .NET. Aspose.Slides for .NET has provided read/write access to, and allows creating new, OLE objects, audio clips with embedded and linked audio files, and video clips with linked video files. Aspose.Network for .NET features improved compliance for ImapClient and Pop3client on Microsoft exchange server. Aspose.Tasks for .NET includes support for MS Project 2007 MPP format and features a new common API for all supported formats MPP2003, MPP2007 and XML. With Aspose.Form for .NET it is now possible to bind to XML data, SharePoint lists, Web Services, and Database Server Tables. You can export a specific frame of the SWF file to image formats with Aspose.Flash for .NET, as well as manipulate Flash v8, v9 and Lite file formats. Aspose.Grid for .NET also supports importing/exporting to Excel2007xlsx file format. Aspose.Workflow for .NET now features a new XPDL 2.1 Designer, Aspose.Workflow Engine which supports XPDL 2.1 and includes support for exporting package as PDF, BMP, JPG, GIF, and PNG as well as allowing you to print them. There are numerous other improvements in many of the components included in Aspose.Total for .NET.

Aspose.Total for Java

Aspose.Words for Java now supports RTF file format. You can read and write files in the RTF format of any version. Over 95% of the RTF 1.8 Specification supported and unknown keywords (unsupported or from newer specifications) are safely ignored. Aspose.Words for Java also supports loading OpenDocument 1.1 and 1.2 documents and saving documents in the OpenDocument 1.1 format. Numerous other improvements have also been made to several components included in Aspose.Total for Java.

Aspose.Total for Reporting Services

Aspose.Words for Reporting Services now features an improved Document layout algorithm as well as a SpacingFactor parameter which allows you to reduce the spacing between report elements. Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services now offers performance improvements in both 2005 and 2008 versions as well as an improved installer. Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services has added support for a new rendering extension (XLMS). Excel templates with macros are now supported. Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services now fully supports Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services as well as supporting Report Viewer Control in local mode. Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services supports rendering of Matrix 2 of 5 barcode (also known as 2/5 Matrix, 2 of 5 Matrix). Several other enhancements have also been made in most of the rendering extensions included in Aspose.Total for Reporting Services.
