Q1 2009 releases of Aspose.Total are announced

Australia, Sydney – March 27, 2009Aspose, one of the leading vendors of .NET & Java components and Reporting Services rendering extensions, is proud to announce the Q1 2009 releases of its Aspose.Total suites for .NET, Java and Reporting Services. The Q1 releases of Aspose.Total include several new features and updates for all product lines to help developers in building more reliable and robust solutions with less effort.

New Additions & Improvements

In Q1 releases, there are many new additions and improvements that are briefly discussed below for each Aspose.Total suite.

Aspose.Total for .NET

Aspose.Words for .NET included with Aspose.Total for .NET offers performance improvements in the rendering engine allowing you to convert bigger documents much faster to PDF and images with enhanced printing support. In addition to this Aspose.Words for .NET supports HTML image export customizations, allows access to font information and panose, supports import and export of form fields in ODT and supports export of line arrows to PDF, printing and rendering. You can also directly convert Excel Files to PDF with Aspose.Cells for .NET. In previous versions, converting Excel files to PDF needed two components: Aspose.Cells and Aspose.Pdf. With the new version, you can use Aspose.Cells for .NET only to implement this feature. This new change greatly optimizes speed and memory usage. Aspose.Pdf for .NET now includes support for PDF Linearization. Aspose.Slides for .NET offers improved support for PPTX file formats. Aspose.Pdf.Kit for .NET offers improved support for text extraction allowing you to extract Unicode text such as Chinese and Japanese. Aspose.Network for .NET now supports converting an EML file (*.eml) to Unicode format Outlook Message file (*.msg). There are numerous other improvements in many of the components included in Aspose.Total for .NET.

Aspose.Total for Java

Aspose.Words for Java now allows you to preserve Metafiles in output document with only one key. Aspose.Cells for Java supports reading and writing Open Document Spreadsheet file (ODS) as well as allows manipulating controls: Check box, Button, Radio button, Combo box, List box, Group box, Scroll bar, Spinner and Label. Aspose.Slides for Java now includes latest PPTX updates ported from .NET version of Aspose.Slides. Several new methods have been added to Aspose.Pdf.Kit for Java which support adding header/footer/page number, deleting unsafe script from PDF and setting alignment for field. Numerous other improvements have also been made to several components included in Aspose.Total for Java.

Aspose.Total for Reporting Services

Aspose.Words for Reporting Services now includes a Code Samples section in the product's documentation. Aspose.Cells for Reporting Service now supports Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2008 Reporting Services as well as having the ability to integrate with Microsoft Report Viewer 2008 in Local Mode. Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services includes complete support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services. A new installer is available which should automatically install Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services to all existing instances of Reporting Services 2005 and 2008. Aspose.BarCode for Reporting Services also supports rendering of GS-1 DataBar (RSS) barcode. Several other enhancements have also been made in most of the rendering extensions included in Aspose.Total for Reporting Services.
