Hello, we are seeing the same error trying to run Aspose.Slides for .NET version 8.0.0 under medium trust. Has this compatibility changed since version 6.0.0?

I have observed the requirements shared by you and suggest you to please try using Aspose.Slides for .NET 15.6.0 as version 8.x.x is from legacy api which is no longer supported. Please try using the suggested API and share with us if there is an issue incurring on your end.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a migration guide available for going from the old API (8.x) to the new API (15.x)?

Has there really been 7 versions released since we updated about 2 years ago, or did the numbering system change along the way?

Hi Kevin,

I like to share that Aspose.Slides 8.x.x series was legacy API which had separate namespaces for dealing with PPT and PPTX presentations. Since 2014, we have launched new unified Aspose.Slides api that has single namespace for dealing with all presentation formats. It is much improved API than legacy 8.x. series API. You can please visit this documentation section link for your convenience in this regard and migrating from legacy to new API code base.
