    Hi,

    I am using Asponse Cell 4.4.0.0 Version. My application code was written in VB.NET Framework 3.5.

    In the excel sheet we used cell background styles. The excel template file was in 97,2003 mode.

    When i open the file in Office 2010, getting errors shown below.

    Error:

    Excel found unreadable content in 'fileName.xls'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook. and see the same enclosed this forum.

    Could you please provide help?

    Hi,

    Since you are using old version (e.g v4.4.0) of the product for which I am not sure. There might be some bug in the older version that you are using though I am not sure about it, also, we cannot help you much if this is an issue with your older version. We recommend you to try later versions of the product, if possible please try our latest version v6.0.1. Over the years, we have made tremendous enhancements regarding different features and modules for Excel 97 - 2010 formats (xls,xlsx, xlsm, xlsb etc.).

    Hi,

    Also, you can try saving your output file in xlsx format and see if it resolves your problem.
