    Hello Prasant,

    Thanks for using our products.

Are you trying to install Aspose.Words and Aspose.Pdf with separate installers or you are using Aspose.Total package ? Also please share that either you are using installers targeting .NET platform or Java ?

    We apologize for your inconvenience.

Re: Error in Installing Aspose.Pdf/Words Licence

    Hello Prasant,

    Thanks for using our products.

I have tried installing Aspose.Pdf for .NET 5.0.0 shared over this link and I am unable to notice any problem. I have tested it over Windows 7 Enterprise 64Bit, Windows XP Professional 32Bit and Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64Bit and I am unable to notice any issue. Aspose.Pdf for .NET is properly being installed.

Can you please share which version of Aspose.Pdf you are trying to installer.

However for Aspose.Words, I believe my fellow member will be able to answer this query, shortly. We apologize for your inconvenience.

Re: Error in Installing Aspose.Pdf/Words Licence

    Hi Prasant,

    Thanks for your inquiry.

Could you please ensure you are running both the installesr with admin privillagces. You can make sure of this by running it from the command prompt as admin like below:

    - Run cmd.exe as Administrator. Search for cmd, then right click and say "Run as Administrator"

    - Run following command: msiexec /i <your path>/Aspose.Words.msi

If this does not work, could you try enabling logging and posting the log here like below:

    msiexec /i <path to msi file> /l*vx C:\InstallerLog.log

Most likely the file generated will be very large, it would be helpful if you locate where the error occurs in the log using Find and then attaching only that part.

    Thanks,

Re: Error in Installing Aspose.Pdf/Words Licence

    Hi Prasant,

    Thanks for your inquiry.

The error is occuring during the install of Aspose.Pdf for .NET. The error code is a general 1603 error inside a custom action which makes finding the actual issue hard.

I suggest to first try uninstallling any previous versions of Aspose.Pdf before installing. If this does not work, try reinstalling the .NET framework.

Finally if these suggestions above still don't work, we will be glad to provide you with the DLLs separately in an archive.

    Thanks,

Re: Error in Installing Aspose.Pdf/Words Licence

    Hi Adam,

I have already removed all Aspose software from my machine and it already  has .NET Framework version 1.1.4322 installed. Do you mean I re-install  .NET Framework version 1.1.4322 ?

    Thanks,

    Prasant

Re: Error in Installing Aspose.Pdf/Words Licence

    Hi Prasant,

Thanks for your inquiry. You can download the latest DLLs in a separate archive for Aspose.Words from here.

Yes all Aspose DLLs require a license or else they will run in evaluation mode. If you license is up to date then this should work fine.
