    Aspose Save Performance .NET

    Hi,

I have an application that opens an existing excel document, saves as, updates, saves again, saves as pdf and then zips up the files.  The total process is 11 seconds. I'd like to reduce the time it takes to process this.  After doing some benchmarking, I found the first excel save takes 1 second, the second one takes 8 seconds, and the save as pdf and zip takes the remaining 3 seconds.

First, I'd like to understand why there is the 8 second save, and how I can improve this.  Second, would additional hardware help me at all?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Hi,

Well, the time taken for opening/saving might depend on the complexity of your Excel document (how the document is created, how much formatting and other objects you have applied or used, also how many formulas are set to be calculated in the workbook).

Anyways, Please try the attached latest version/fix v5.1.2.6.

If you still find the issue, kindly do post a sample application to show the issue, we will look into it soon.

    Thank you.
