    Damaged presentations when downloading

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)

Hi, I'm running a website where we publish different .ppt:s which the user can combine into one big presentation based upon focus of the meeting. Now i'we run into problems when i'm publishing new .ppts. (season upgrades).

The messeage is that some slides are damaged, and cant be recoverd, however, if you open the presentation with powerpoint, its no problems or messages. This application have been working fine fore several years now.

Server is W2003 IIS6, Aspose Slides is version: 2.6.26.0, fairly old but working...I Tried today with downloading version: 3.0.0.41081, but with same result.

Attached is a .ppt that has a problem with slide 2, Please advice what to do.

    Thanks and Regards
    Michael

    Re: Damaged presentations when downloading

    Hello Michael,

Could you please give more details on how to reproduce the problem. I have cloned all slides from 45_sv.ppt to another presentation and there are no problems with opening it in PowerPoint 2003.

Try to call Presentation.DeleteUnusedMasters() and Presentation.DeleteHandout() before writing presentation to a file.

    Hi Alexey,

I Downloaded a newer version, and requested a temporary licence, and now it works :-)
    So now we will upgrade.

    Thanks for your support!
