    PDF Growth .NET

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)
    I'm experiencing the same file growth as codewarrior. I simply open the pdf, replace some text, and the pdf grows from 77kb to 470 kb. I'm guessing pdf kit is removing compression to replace the text and isn't putting it back on. Is there anything I can do to stop these large pdf files.
    thanks

    pdfContent.BindPdf("c:\\temp\\junk.pdf");
    pdfContent.ReplaceText("TOL", "Replaced");
    pdfContent.Save("c:\\temp\\junk2.pdf");

    Re: PDF Growth

    Ok it's been a week!   Sorry but the boss is looking for this code ASAP.

    I have a work around by calling pdftk from a command line and compressing the file but it would be nice not to have to use that.

    thanks
