    Concatenate Error

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)

    I have a page where users fill out information and then the web app creates a Word document using Aspose Word. Then Aspose PDF converts the Word doc to a PDF. I then use PDF Kit to concatenate a file uploaded by the user the file created by the web app. Most of the times this works, but I have one user whose file causes an error when attempting to concatenate the files.

    Attached are the documents in question. The file 09001992_2_01262009_11240557_e.pdf is the one created with Aspose Word and PDF, HargisJohnsonSignaturePage.pdf  is the document uploaded by the user that needs to be concatenated at the end of the first document.

    Thanks
    Russ

    Re: Concatenate Error

    Hi Russ,

    I have tested the issue at our end and found that when I try to open the concatenated file it shown following error message:

    "... can not open file "concatenatedfile.pdf" it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged..."

    Is this the problem your are facing? Please confirm so we could further investigate the issue.

    Regards,

    Re: Concatenate Error

    I receive the error 'Object reference not set to an Instance of an Object' when it attempts to concatenate the 2 files. The code is as follows:
             Dim pdfEditor As PdfFileEditor = New PdfFileEditor
                pdfEditor.Concatenate(sInputFile1, sInputFile2, sOutPutFile)

    Where sInputFile1 = 09001992_2_01262009_11240557_e.pdf
                 sInputFile2 = HargisJohnsonSignaturePage.pdf
                 sOutPutFile = the concatenated file
