Hi,

I have an issue with  NumberFormatLinked property of the  chart CategoryAxis.

Even if i set it to true

chart.CategoryAxis.TickLabels.NumberFormatLinked = true;

at the saving time it is NOT taken in consideration for ExcelXp, Excel2003 but it is considered on Excel2007.

Moreover, when i export it in HTML i receive some strange labels on the category axis (please see the attached sample)

Please try the attached latest version of Aspose.Cells. We have fixed the bug of Chart2Image conversion which caused some strange labels in the HTML file.
For the number linked issue in Excel 2003, I think is an issue of MS Excel.
In MS Excel 2003, we find the property "Liked to source" of the category axis (Double click Category axis->Number tab) is selected. And we remove the chart and create a new chart in MS Excel; we find the number format of the category axis is same as the previous chart.

It seems that  Chart2Image is fixed in the HTML export.
Related to "Liked to source" issue i saw it is a bug in Excel XP or Excel 2003.
But if i open this excel 2003 generated file in Excel2007 the checkbox "Liked to source" is unchecked.
Is it normal this way ?

Well, this is the issue with MS Excel. If you create a chart in MS Excel 2003 with “Linked to Source” as checked and then you open the same chart in MS Excel 2007 the “Linked to Source” will be un-checked.

Too bad.. i guess is quite hard to blame MS as they will admit this behavior is "by design" :)
Anyway.. i'm going next and show another issue i have found.
It seems that Workbook.Copy() method doesn't  copy/clone well the source workbook (and inner object) into the new worksheet.(i have used Aspose.Cells 4.6.0.3)
Please see the attached sample, and compare those two charts.. the way the axis are formatted.
Soon enought i will come again with another issue, but for now i'm building the proper sample.
