    Error converting WMF file

    Hello,
    I receive error trying to convert attached WMF file

    com.aspose.metafiles.MetafilesException: Error reading Wmf record number 376
        at com.aspose.metafiles.aG.do(SourceFile:396)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.WmfMetafile.do(SourceFile:114)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.WmfMetafile.<init>(SourceFile:44)

    The code is same as in examples/emf2png.java
    JDK 1.6_06 x64

    2nd question:
    our software is using Webstart, and we sign jars using our keys. So far we cannot incorporate trial version of Aspose.Metafiles, because jar signing fails. I assume it is protected somehow.
    Q:
    Will it be possible to sign the jar of purchased version?
    What license gives us access to source code?
    Is there some support contract that would enforce fixing bugs withing 2-3 days time frame?

    Hello Yuri,

    1. You shouldn't change content of the jar file but signing it with your own keys is not a problem.
    2. Sorry but it's not possible to get access to source code.
    3. We don't have priority technical support but Aspose.Metafiles problems usually fixed in a short time.

    I receive one more error converting new file (see attachment)
    java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1
        at com.aspose.metafiles.cb.do(SourceFile:1142)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.cb.do(SourceFile:985)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.I.do(SourceFile:56)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.EmfMetafile.playMetafile(SourceFile:112)
        at com.aspose.metafiles.EmfMetafile.playMetafile(SourceFile:150)

    It occurs both on Kubuntu 8.04 x64 using OpenJDK and Windows XP using JDK 6u07

    I have several more files that produce the same error, let me know if you'll need them.

    We will investigate this metafile and provide fix asap.
    Anyway, please provide also other files for testing if possible.

    thanks, it does not generate error now.

    There is a problem related to drawing:
    Check attached emf/png files, -- notice some text is lost.
