    Aspose.Network.Exchange.ExchangeClient

    Hello

My question relates to the first parameter in the ExchangeClient() API.  Why is mailBoxUri solicited?

My understanding of a mailBoxUri is that this is for Outlook Web Access (OWA).  Is this your understanding?  If yes - Does the ExchangeClient support a non OWA method of accessing an Exchange server (via an intranet/MAPI)?  My understanding is also that not all IT departments put their Exchange servers on the web for web access.  What can I do if a company does not support OWA?

    Thanks

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

You can access the exchange server that is installed on a PC of your local intranet. For example try giving "http://192.168.1.100/exchange/folder", where folder is the exchange account.

    Thanks for the response Saqib.

Whenever I see a field prefixed with http:// - I think of the web.  Are you saying that Aspose.Network "overloads" the mailBoxUri input parameter to the ExchangeClient such that it checks for OutlookWebAccess first, then defaults to looking on an intranet (not the web) for the Exchange server?

I'm having a hard time understanding that the mailBoxUri parameter is "dual purpose" - for both Outlook Web Access and non Outlook Web Access (intranet/MAPI).

    Thanks

    Mike

    Re: Aspose.Network.Exchange.ExchangeClient

    Hello, Mike,

ExchangeClient only supports accessing exchange server through the web access interface. It will only check for the OutlookWebAccess.

    Thanks
