    not a valid DateTime

When using the method SetLicense, I get an error regarding the format of the date in the license file. The message states: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. I am assuming it is referencing the date in the .lic file. Is there a fix or is there something I might have incorrectly set, for this to occur?

    Hi,
    thanks for your question!

Please indicate which control are you licensing? If you are building desktop application then you need to reference and license Aspose.Editor.Desktop dll. If you are building web (ASP) application then you need to reference and license Aspose.Editor.Server dll. You must not license Aspose.Editor.Client dll.

P.S. Development stuff doesn't issue licenses. If you feel than license is incorrect please contact sales stuff instead.

    Kind regards,
    Michael

    Re: not a valid DateTime

I originally contacted Sales and they are the ones that posted my request. I am trying to consume the license file for the Aspose.Form component, not the Editor. It is being done within an ASP.NET 2.0 application. The component runs fine, except it displays the red message indicating that it is an eval copy. I dont have any issue using the control, it's the Aspose.Form.License.Setlicense method.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Re: not a valid DateTime

As far as my situation; It looks like it has to do with the fact that i received a Aspose.Custom.lic files, because i wanted to try a couple of products. I tried renaming that lic file to Aspose.Form.lic and removing the additional product names in the lic file. Basically, converting it to only a Aspose.Form license file. The error does not get thrown anymore, but the red eval message is still displayed. It may be because the key in the license file may not correspond to just the .Form license anymore. Now im thinking that if i get a single eval license which only applies to the Aspose.Form, it might work. I'm awaiting a response from them now.
