    PNG problems

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)
    Hi,

i have several PNGs inside a word document, there are two issues when conwirting this document to PDF.
    1. The images in the PDF look as if there were a gray overlay on them (transparency problem?).
    2. The last two images seem to land on one page one on top of the other? I'm not sure in this case, but there is definitevely one page missing.
    Please see the attached examles.
    Thank you
    Robert

    Hi,

I have tested with Aspose.Pdf v 3.6.2.0 and AsposeWords v 5.1.0.0 and was not able to to reproduce the error. Can you please download the latest version of the components and try again.

    Thanks.

    Re: PNG problems

    Hi,

I was able to reproduce the error with Aspose.Pdf v 3.6.2.4. Moreover the gray overlay is also there in v 3.6.2.0. I will discuss this with the developer and let you know.

    Thanks.

    Re: PNG problems

    Hi Robert,

I am afraid problem 2 is a regression bug of Aspose.Pdf 3.6.2.4. I will fix it and give you an update soon.
For problem 1, I can see the difference. I have logged it as PDFNET-4902 in our defect database. I think we can't fix it in short time. We will try our best to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

thank you for the fix, the problem number two is gone. Any news regarding problem one? Is there any ETA? When is the next official release of Aspose.Pdf scheduled? Will this problem be fixed in the official release?

    Thank you
