Hi,
We are trying out an application where we need to read the data from a MS Project File ( could be of any version ). The .mpp file being uploaded to our server by an user. So we build a prototype appliction where we deployed Aspose.Task and it worked well to our satisfaction for all versions of MS Project Files ( 98, 200-2003) but it failed to work on MS Project 2007.
Is it possible for Aspose.Task to work on MS Project 2007 as well ?
if yes then we are very much interested to buy this product.

please reply as soon as possible as we are running out of time.

Hello,

Currently Project 2007 files are not supported but we are planning to support it the future.
Most probably this functionality will be added in next couple of months or before summer.

It will be great if  you are planning to put in the support for Project 2007.
Now my question is if we buy your product now and after subsequent months  your product (Aspose.Tasks)'s  new version with Project 2007 support is out, do we have to buy it again or pay some extra money ? Or our purchased version will be automatically upgraded by some patch ?

Yeah at last we have all the informations regarding Aspose.Task.
We would like to buy the software soon.

But currently we only need its minimal funtionality for next 1-2 months.
Can we deploy the dll in our web-server, the dll which has been obtained by installing the "evaluation version" of Aspose.Task in one of our local machine.
Will that be legal ? Please clarify.

meaning that when I try to open a 2007 file using the query example, it fails.

It can open 2003 and XML only.
