Using bullets in Right-to-Left

    Using bullets in Right-to-Left

    Hello

    Can you please provide with working example of using bullets in right to left text? Despite all my efforts the bullets are still aligned to the left (while the rest of the text is right to left and aligned to the right).

    Hi,

    Thank you for considering Aspose.

    I think this type of bullet alignment is not supported in Aspose.Pdf. We will check this issue and will discuss with developers and let you know if we can support it.

    Dear Eddie,

    After discussing it with the developers I found that it is not supported yet. I have logged this issue as PDFNET-3981, but we can't promise to support this feature in short time. We will try and if we find a way to resolve it early, we will let you know. Sorry for inconvenience.

    Dear Eddie,

    We have enhanced our support of Right-to-Left language and bullets in Right-to-Left way is also supported now. The attachment is a beta version that including these features. Please try it and let us know if you have any other problems. Thanks.

    Dear Hans,
    The attached dll is intended to be used with .Net framework v1.1, while my whole application is v2.0 compatible.
    Can you please send the v2.0 version of the Aspose.Pdf.dll?

    Unfortunately, 3.6.2.8 hasn't solved it.
    Attached please find the reproduction program.
    You can run it on the same input with 3.6.2.8 (no bullets appear) and with 3.6.2.0 (bullets are displayed left aligned).

    Hello Eddie,

    Our apologies for any inconvenience that you may have come across. The code has been tested using Aspose.Pdf 3.6.2.8 and problem is still there. Issue PDFNET-5240 has been logged over defect management system and has been communicated to our development team. As soon as we come up with any appropriate solution for this problem, we would be pleased to inform you.

    Sorry for the regression bug. I found another problem that the bullets' string is not rendered in RTL order. We have resolved it and the disapper bullets problem. I will give you an update after some tests. Thanks.
