All of the other DefineShapeX objects have a constructor that takes some number of arguments (specifically the shape's Id, which is a read-only property), but DefineShape4's constructor does not.

Is there a new way of constructing a DefineShape4 instance that I'm missing?

You will construct it with its default constructor and then set its properties to make it useful.
