    Re: pdf toolkit

    Hi Felix,

I understood what you wrote, but these are some manipulations which are supposed to be done from the code side.

What I want is to make the PDF in such a way that it allows the user to add sticky notes/comments through Adobe Reader itself. These documents would be managed by SharePoint. I just want to give edit permission to the user when the PDF is generated.

I hope I could put my reqmt. correctly to you.

    Thanks & regards,
    Prasanjit Mandal

    Hi,

According to your post, i think what your need is to set the Privilege of the pdf document, please refer to http://www.aspose.com/documentation/file-format-components/aspose.pdf.kit-for-.net-and-java/aspose.pdf.kit.pdffilesecurity.html.

    Re: pdf toolkit

Hello- I sent an email to you, but want to make sure I contacted you..

We are currently experiencing issues with aspose.pdf as it relates to merging annotations from multiple pdf documents to a single pdf (master).  The tool appears to be making "ghost" comments directly on top of the orginal comment, which makes for a very confusing, and almost unusable experience.

My agency is committed to a single company solution, and aspose.doc and aspose.pdf get us very close to the desired functionality.

    Please help!

RE: your request of jbrady, screen shots depicting the problem were sent via an e-mail. let me know if you have further questions. We discovered these bugs during integration testing.  All other functions of the application are ready for UAT and deployment with the exception of the bugs described, so resolving this issue is our highest priority for the project at this time.

    Hello Rebecca,

Sorry for replying you late. It would be more convenient if you could share the resource Pdf files & image file showing the error, as an attachment in this forum thread. If you don’t want other to see the files, you can mark the thread as private.

We think we have resolved documents with checkboxes not merging correctly: it seems to be a document properties issue.  Please verify. See attachment.
