Hi,

is it possible to offer the unescaped content of MFCOMMENT records through your API? Because some programs use these records to store orginal application data in it.

I don't how GdiComment records are related to MFCOMMENT records, but those records should be supported too IMHO.

It would really helpful if you could support those records.

I think we can add read-only support for GdiComment records in a short time if you need it.
In the same time it is not possible to change or create new comments because Aspose.Metafiles doesn't have any metafiles writing capabilities.

I hope that I can extract the original data of Metafiles images with the help of the GdiComments. I extract these Metafile images from Word files and I can't use the original OLE information because of bugs in Aspose.Words, see http://www.aspose.com/Community/Forums/thread/94157.aspx

We have published Aspose.Metafiles 1.2.5 hot fix.
It has now possibility to read wmf and emf comments.
