Convert XLS to PDF rescales page size

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)

We're evaluating Aspose to convert MS/Excel .xls and .xlsx files into PDF format, but we're seeing that page sizes are not preserved.

As the attached files show, the original XLS file prints the (only) whole page in one sheet (8.5 x 14). However, the resulting converted PDF file splits the page text across multiple sheets (8.5 x 11).

    Q. Is there are way to preserve the page setup (size, scaling, etc.) from the original XLS document when it is converted into PDF format?

    Hi,

Thanks for providing us the template files.

Please try the attached version v4.7.1.15. We have tested the conversion (excel-to-pdf), the page size is rendered to pdf with almost the same size. I can still see a little difference the last line is splitted to the second page.
Well, it may not be 100% identical to excel's Legal size but very much the same. For your info, the page heights/widths might not be 100% the same as both MS Excel and Pdf are diverse architectures and file formats having different sets of attributes. Anyways, we will further check to enhance it and get back to you soon.

    Thank you.
