    Evaluation questions for aspose.pdf.kit

    Hi,

I am currently evaluating the pdf kit for it's merging capabilities. So far it has met all my requirements.

What I am not finding is a tool to manage templates. Can this only be done in Adobe designer or does Aspose have a tool for this? Our requirements for a pdf template editor would be:
    1) A fixed set of form fields available. The user should only be allowed to create form fields with the names "Firstname, Surname, Address, etc...)
    2) WYSIWYG editor, preferably browser based.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

    thx

    Hello TRond,

Aspose.Pdf.Kit is a tool that is used to edit any existing Pdf file. If you need to create a Pdf from scratch, please refer to Aspose.Pdf. Regarding your requirement, of having some WYSWYG editor, you would have to create it by yourself. Currently we don’t have any such tool. One more thing, the Pdf files generated through Aspose.Pdf can be displayed in Web browser.

    Thank you for your response.

Do you know if there exists a tool for creating/editing pdf's where the user can select from a set of form fields? I want the user to only select valid form fields (that I will be able to merge server side).

    Hi Trond,

Currently I am familiar with 2 of the tools from Adobe,

    1) Adobe Designer            http://www.adobe.com/products/server/formdesigner/index.html

    2) Adobe LiveCycle DesignerES     http://www.adobe.com/products/livecycle/designer/
