Hi,

I'm very satisfied with the latest trial version of Aspose Workflow and suggested my boss to consider buying some licenses. Then I learned that our IT Department previously purchased licenses for the old Aspose Total which valids up to Aspose Workflow 1.2.12. So my boss asked me to use that version first.

I switched from 1.5.0.0 to 1.2.12 and ran some quick testing and all the functions of my demo application still works fine. I checked the changelog between 1.2.12 and up to 1.5.0.0, seems like most of the changes are in performance only.

So I have 2 questions

1. Is there any critical/blocker bug in 1.2.12 besides performance ? (my application is ASP.NET 2.0 application)

2. Just to confirm, if the server is later upgraded with .NET 3.0, version 1.2.12 still works fine doesnt it ?

Thanks and I hope to turn this project to an impressive showcase and ask big boss to renew the subscription for Apose, your product is excellent for the price.

1. We fixed some critical concurrency issues in 1.2.12, which may lead to a crash under high stress.

2. Yes, Please make sure you refer to the .net 2.0 build of the aspose.workflow.

Finally, what kind of database are you using? If you are using Oracle, you may need to check v1.5. It contains an optimized build for oracle data provider for .net.
