How it Works
Aspose.Words for Microsoft Word is implemented using the following two technologies:
· Aspose.Words for .NET
· Microsoft Word 2007 SP2 Open XML Format External Converter
When installed, Aspose.Words for Microsoft Word registers itself as an Open XML Format External Converter and this makes Microsoft Word show EPUB as a new file format in the Save As dialog box.
When you select to save as EPUB, the following happens:
1. Microsoft Word saves the document in the OpenXML WordprocessingML format and sends it to Aspose.Words for Microsoft Word.
2. Aspose.Words for Microsoft Words is built on top of Aspose.Words for .NET, a class library for document conversion, generation, reporting and rendering. Aspose.Words for .NET loads the OpenXML document and converts it to the EPUB format.
