  • Aspose.Total Northwind Demos with Windows Vista support

  • Aspose.Total Demos Release 1.3

    Dear Customers,

    Thanks for considering Aspose.

    We have released a new version (1.3) of Aspose.Total Northwind Demos. The change summary for this release is described below:

    Change Summary

    • Email Demo Application (Email.aspx) is almost re-created with the latest version of Aspose.Network (3.0.0.0). In this demo, Use Default SMTP Settings feature is added to make it quick for users to use the demo. File Attachments feature is optimized according to latest release of Aspose.Network. FreeTextBox is used instead of a simple TextArea for typing email message. Using FreeTextBox control, now users can create and send Html emails containing more rich content. Spell Check feature is enabled in FreeTextBox control to help users in checking spells of their email message. An exciting feature added to this demo is the support of EML files that is the feature of latest version of Aspose.Network. Now, users cannot only open an existing EML file using Open button of FreeTextBox control but also Save and download their email message as an EML file by clicking the Save button of FreeTextBox. This Email Demo is also integrated with other demos of Aspose.Total for providing emailing feature.
    • Default Page of Aspose.Total Demos (Default.aspx) is modified to contain an updated description of Email Demo Application.
    • Open File Dialog (OpenFile.aspx) is modified to accomodate opening EML files feature in Email Demo Application.
    • Save File Dialog (SaveFile.aspx) is modified to accomodate saving EML files feature in Email Demo Application.
    • Spell Checker Dialog (SpellChecker.aspx) got a little fluke that is also fixed.

  • Aspose.Grid Wiki - More Better Now

    Dear Customers,

    Thanks for considering Aspose.

    We are glad to announce that Aspose.Grid Wiki has just got better than before. We have made many enhancements to Aspose.Grid Wiki that are listed below:

    • Topics are arranged in a precise manner to make them look more organized.
    • Programmer's Guide is completely re-created.
    • Each topic is illustrated with code snippets (in C# & VB.NET) & related screenshots.
    • Technical Articles section is created that provides more useful information to customers on HowTo's topics with the help of sample applications and detailed explanations. The new Data Binding articles will also be pretty useful for the customers.
    • Programmer's Guide is divided into two parts. One for Aspose.Grid.Desktop and other for Aspose.Grid.Web. It would help customers to find targeted information more easily.

  • Aspose.Total Demos Release 1.2 [Update]

    Dear Customers,

    Thanks for considering Aspose.

    Aspose.Total Demos are updated after detailed investigation.

    Change Summary

    1. An old bug is traced in Spread Sheet Demo (Excel.aspx) that caused the generation of incomplete Excel file when a user tries to Save the work done on the Grid. It was due to some logical error in the demo that is fixed now.

    2. In Word Processor Demo (Word.aspx), when Spell Check button is clicked, it always showed a popup message to turn off popup blocker. It is also fixed.

    3. The Installers are configured to make the demos run more smoothly.

    Please feel free to download the updated Aspose.Total-Northwind Demos in CS or VB.NET version.

    Note: All demos are available in both CSharp & VB.NET versions.

    Change Summary

    • Aspose.Total Demos are modified to use the latest versions of the Aspose components
    • Email Demo Application is re-built to use the latest API changes in Aspose.Network.Mail component. (Old demo was using Aspose.Email component whose API was different from the newer component)
    • Attachment bug is fixed in Email demo application. (When a file was sent via email from other demo applications like Word Processor / Presentation creator etc. then the attached file was not opened on client side)
    • Adding Text Frame in Line shape throws exception in Presentation Creator Demo Application, which is also now fixed.
    • Aspose.Excel.Web is replaced with Aspose.Grid.Web 1.5.2.0 to add more features to Spread Sheet Creator Demo Application
    • All demos using Aspose.ASPXpand 1.6.0.0 version are modified extensively to use the modified APIs of Aspose.ASPXpand 2.0.2.0 (released on 9th march 2006)
    • An Invoice Creator Demo Application is added that takes input from user and generates an invoice in either Word or PDF format. Users can save the invoices to their computers or send to their email addresses directly. This demo application also utilizes the Barcode technology.
    • A Flash Maker Demo Application is also added that takes input from user in easy steps to add text or shapes with animations to create a flash movie. Users may view the resulting flash movie at the end and then can finally save or send it to their email address.
    • The look and feel of all Aspose.Total Demos is changed to make them look more attractive.

  • Aspose.BarCode Wiki Enhancement

    Aspose.BarCode Wiki is released few days ago with a lot of enhancements as follows:

    • Programmers Guide is made more detailed, flexible and understandable
    • All written content is made more user friendly with supported examples, code snippets, figures and diagrams
    • Technical Articles are added to Programmers Guide to discuss several issues related to Barcode Printing, Barcodes Management using Databases and Intgeration of Aspose.BarCode with other Aspose Components
    • Many other useful links are also added to provide detailed information about barcodes and their symbologies

  • Improvement of Aspose.Pdf Wiki

    A new version of Aspose.Pdf Wiki is just released last night on 2nd November, 2005. Aspose.Pdf Wiki is enhanced from almost all aspects as follows:

    1. Wiki is made more understandable, easy to use and user friendly for all of Aspose.Pdf customers.
    2. It provides all information related to Aspose.Pdf ranging from simple Product Overview to rich Programmer's Guide.
    3. Many new topics are added to Programmer's Guide
    4. All Programmer's Guide topics contain related code snippets in both C# and VB.NET languages to assist developers to learn Aspose.Pdf API in a quick and efficient way.
    5. Lots of technical concepts are discussed with the help of figures, diagrams and screenshots to help Aspose.Pdf developers, understand rigid concept details in an interesting and understandable manner.
    6. All topic's content is written using simple english to make it more readable for our customers.

    We hope that this release of new Aspose.Pdf Wiki would help a lot to our customers in saving their time and efforts to learn Aspose.Pdf.
