Thank you for the update. Unfortunately, it appears that the new release is not yet available for download?
Thanks,

Documentation is not organized/complete...difficult to find out how to do what I want. References use words that are not defined anywhere, so the minimal information is meaningless...

be slick if there was a search for ...how do I...not only for product framework, but, for site navigation... for instance...how do I post to a forum??? I can read the forums, but, do not see a button to add a post....

What is the difference between 'Fields' and 'Form Fields' and 'Bookmarks'. I can read text from a field using the bookmark name, but, the text has control characters around the text. If I use the formfield text methods, I do not get anything returned by the same field...???

Thanks for your comments.
We have a more up to date blog for Aspose.Words here http://www.aspose.com/community/blogs/aspose.words/default.aspx.

1. "Documentation is not organized/complete..." It does not help much. But I would gladly accept concrete suggestions or questions.

2. "do I post to a forum". You need to register and logon before you can post. I think it is same like in any other forum.

3. "What is the difference between 'Fields' and 'Form Fields' and 'Bookmarks'". This is a good question.

We do have sections in the documentation that explain bookmarks and form fields how they are used in MS Word and how they are used in Aspose.Words:

http://www.aspose.com/documentation/file-format-components/aspose.words-for-.net-and-java/work-with-bookmarks.html

http://www.aspose.com/documentation/file-format-components/aspose.words-for-.net-and-java/work-with-form-fields.html

But the fact is that to effectively work with a Microsoft Word document one has to understand a bit of Microsoft Word terminology. We at Aspose cannot rewrite complete Microsoft Word's documentation. Aspose.Words tries to faitfully preserve name, meaning and features of Microsoft Word things essentially.
