Aspose.Slides for JasperReports 1.0.0.0 Released

Please welcome our new product Aspose.Slides for JasperReports!

Aspose.Slides for JasperReports is an external exporter for JasperReports and the only known solution on the market that makes possible exporting reports from JasperReports to Microsoft PowerPoint PPT and PPS formats.

The Zip file contains Aspose.Slides.JasperReports.jar, instructions how to configure it and API reference.

Licenses for purchase will be available in next few days. Without license exporter will produce presentations with watermark.

What's New:

Memory and speed optimization of ppt files reading/writing.

Possibility to read file name of OLE1 objects.
Shape.addTextFrame method returns created TextFrame now.

Fixes:

Aspose.Slides didn't delete referenced OLE and embedded sound data after removing OleObjectFrame and AudioFrame shapes. Also Shape object now has special boolean property HasExternalData to determine if shape has some hidden data (in case shape is not recognised as OleObjectFrame, AudioFrame and etc.)
3181 - Font of symbols inserted to a text could be changed after slide cloning.
3623, 3800 - MS PowerPoint couldn't open presentations ("PowerPoint can’t open ppt because part of the file is missing"). If target presentation was created through "new Presentation()" call then Presentation.DeleteHandout() method should be called after slide cloning.

More Info:
From this version we change API for working with tables. We tried to make it as close as possible to previous releases but there are some differences anyway.

Temporally it's not possible to delete columns and split cells.
CellBorder class has GetEnumerator() method instead of LineFormat property in the previous versions. GetEnumerator retirns iterator for enumerating all Line objects which compose border of a cell.
Cell class has new TopLeftCell and BottomRightCell properties to get coordinates of a cell. These properties are equal to each other for normal cells and different for merged cells.
