Control the width or dash style of a legend marker through API or XML

Aspose.Report for .NET 3.0.0 has been released. This release supports controlling the width or dash style of a legend marker through API or XML.

You can set LegendBoxItemLineWidth and LegendBoxItemLineStyle custom attributes of the data point of a legend item to change the width or dash style. The same attributes can be set through XML also.

Customize the labels’ area of a Radar chart in your Java applications

Aspose.Report for Java 2.0.0 has been released. This release includes support for customization of the labels’ area of Radar charts. This feature enables you to customize the area of Radar chart’s labels and wrap the label text.

Plotting of curve charts has also been improved in this release and now you can see a smooth curve in your curve charts.

Control the transparency of data points through XML

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.9.0 has been released. This release supports controlling the transparency of data points through XML.

You can set UseColorAlpha property in your XML file to true to use the alpha component of the color which enables you to change the transparency of data points. This release also includes the most recent bug fixes.

Parse extended queries

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.8.1 has been released. This release supports extended query parsing.

Previously, parsing the self-generated queries only was supported by AdHoc.Web component but now you can also use those Select statements which are not generated by AdHoc.Web component.

Aspose.Report for Java 1.9.0 has been released. This release includes support for serialization and deserialization of all 2D charts which enables you to create charts from XML or save charts to XML.

This release enables you to customize the spaces between the custom axis markers and additional customization of grid lines has also been supported in this release. You can control the color, width and transparency of the grid lines.

Create Curve, CurveArea, Contour or Surface charts in your Java applications

Aspose.Report for Java 1.8.0 has been released. This release includes many important features which enable you to create, customize, serialize or deserialize Curve, CurveArea, Contour and Surface charts. Now Aspose.Report for Java supports 17 most popular chart types.

This release also enables you to create charts without borders and overlay a series above all other series. You can use BorderType.None to hide the border of a chart and setAbove to overlay a series.

Additional customization of Radar chart and AxisCustomMarker has also been included in this release. You can set lines’ visibility, transparency, labels’ colors, lines’ colors and shapes of lines of the AxisCustomMarker and adjust visibility, width and transparency of the Radar chart's points.

Display grid and custom markers for secondary axis and set LegendBox’s border types in your Java applications

Aspose.Report for Java 1.7.0 has been released. This release includes support for grid, zero line and custom markers of the secondary axis. You can show or hide secondary axis grid and custom markers.

This release also supports different border types for the LegendBox and allows you to set appropriate margins to avoid LegendBox’s overlapping. You can set ChartArea’s margins if the LegendBox is outside the ChartArea and AxisArea’s margins if the LegendBox is inside the ChartArea to avoid LegendBox’s overlapping.

Create Pareto, Step or Scatter charts or set secondary axis, custom axis labels or data point labels in your Java applications

Aspose.Report for Java 1.6.0 has been released. This release includes support for Pareto, Step and Scatter chart types. Now Aspose.Report for Java supports 13 most popular chart types.

This release also allows you to set secondary X and Y axis for your charts. Custom labels are also supported by this release which allows you to create axis labels of your choice.

Support for data point labels has also been included in this release. This feature is supported for Bar charts only and allows you to display values on the bars. Plotting of Doughnut charts and axis has also been improved in this release.

Set two labels for each DataPoint of a Pie chart and set Chart’s attributes through XML

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.5.0 has been released. This release supports setting many attributes of different chart elements through XML. Previously, users were able to create charts through XML but some attributes were not supported in the XML which are supported now.

This release also supports setting two labels for each data point of a Pie chart. Previously, only one label for each data point was supported.

Behavior of series.DefaultDataPoint.Color has also been changed in this release. Before this release, DefaultDataPoint.Color property was setting the color of each data point. Now, you can add a data point with different color even if DefaultDataPoint.Color is set.

Choose from multiple chart borders and set grid lines or background color of radar in your Java applications

Aspose.Report for Java 1.5.0 has been released. This release includes support for multiple chart borders. You can choose any chart border which suits your needs.

You can also set separate background color and grid lines for the radar in a Radar chart. Previously, background color could be set for complete chart area (inside and outside the radar).

Series and SeriesCollection objects are also improved in this release and some new attributes have been included. This release also includes some other features like ability to handle the wrong set of data, ability to assign DateTime value to axis step and double-precision support for axis and chart points.

Get selected field’s name, set AxisLabel and LegendItem’s margins or set LegendBox’s font size

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.4.0 has been released. This release includes the new event to get the name of the currently selected field. You can use this event to know the name of the field your clients are querying against.

This release also includes the features to set the space between LegendItems, space between the Axis line and the custom AxisLabels and the font size in a LegendBox. Previously, automatic adjustment of the LegendBox’s font size could not be disabled and users were unable to increase the font size after a specific size. Now users can specify any font size for the LegendBox.

DataPoint constructor for Gantt charts and query parsing features are improved in Aspose.Report for .NET

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.3.0 has been released. This release includes the improved DataPoint constructor for Gantt charts.

Query parsing features are also improved in this release. In previous releases, ParseSQLStatement and ParseOrderByStatement methods were not parsing the complex queries (queries containing ‘from’ keyword in the field names). Now these members can parse all types of queries. This release also includes some important bug fixes.

Set LegendItem shapes, Load BackImage from resources and set PointMarker in charts or use extended RDL to Image converter

Aspose.Report for .NET 2.2.0 has been released. This release supports RDL expressions including arithmetical operations, concatenation with type resolution and RowNumber function. Previously, RDL expressions were not supported in the RDL to Image conversion.

This release also includes the features to set any shape for a LegendItem, load DataPoint’s BackImage from embedded resources, display rectangle as FrameBorder and display horizontal/vertical lines as point markers in a Point/Line chart. This release also includes some important bug fixes.
