The latest version of Aspose.Flash for .NET has been published. In Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.9.0, we have introduced support for .NET 3.5 and 4.0 client profile. The latest installer contains the DLLs for .NET 1.1, 2.0, 3.5, 3.5 Client Profile, 4.0 and 4.0 Client Profile in separate folders. This version of Aspose.Flash for .NET is fully compatible with Visual Studio 2010. In addition to this, we have improved SVG to SWF conversion in this latest release.

Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.6.0 has been released. In this new version, we have provided support for exporting SWF movies to animated GIF files. You can use RenderToGIF method to convert Flash movie to animated GIF. This version also allows you to convert TTF fonts to SWF fonts with the help of ConvertTrueTypeFontToSWFFont method.

You can create an SWF file from an MP3 audio stream using FromSoundData method. Sound extraction functionality is available in the latest release of Aspose.Flash for .NET. The sound data can be extracted as well using ExtractSoundStream method. SVG to SWF conversion is also improved.

We have published the latest version of Aspose.Flash for .NET. In Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.4.0, performance and memory utilization is improved. We have also enhanced the FLV and Bitmap manipulation features. The process of getting bitmaps from FlashBitmap object is much better in the latest version. We have also worked on embedding MP3 files in a flash movie and DefineText features and enhanced both of these processes.

Aspose.Flash for .NET also allows you to add multiple FLV files in a flash movie and you can extract all or any of these embedded FLV files as well using the file id. Adding FLV and Text on Image, SWF to FLV Conversion and Frame Rendering is Improved in Aspose.Flash for .NET.

Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.3.0 is released. In this latest version, we have improved the support to add text and FLV file over a background image. SWF to FLV conversion process is also improved. The process of rendering individual frames of a Flash movie into images is enhanced.

We have also introduced a new overload for Unpack method to place a video stream at the specified depth with a specified id. A new feature, to manage embedded FLV streams extraction process, is introduced as Extract method. This allows you to extract an FLV stream with a particular id.

Updated Documentation of Aspose.Flash for .NET with Complete New Programmer's Guide Section is Available Now

We have recently updated Aspose.Flash for .NET documentation. We have not only improved existing documentation, but also added a complete new Programmer's Guide section containing a variety of topics on most of the features of Aspose.Flash for .NET. These topics cover Text, Shapes, Buttons, SWF, FLV, Images, Sound, ActionScript, Transformations and some miscellaneous features.

Topics covered under text section show you how to add static and scrollable text in a Flash movie. It also shows you how to add HTML in an SWF file. Applying font style and color on some text is also covered in this section. Similarly, shapes section explains the process of creating straight edges and curved edges. It also shows you how to add different shapes in a Flash movie. It explains the methods of applying bitmap fill and solid fill styles as well.

You can also learn to add, remove and extract images from a Flash movie, by reading the topics covered under images section. Buttons section shows you how to add a button in an SWF file and then adding some action on button click. The sound section shows you how to play a sound file in a Flash movie.

We have also covered the topics on manipulating existing SWF files, and converting SWF to FLV or embedding FLV file in an SWF file. Similarly, in the transformations section we have explored the ways to apply color and shape transformations.

Aspose.Flash for .NET supports ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3. That's why a complete topic on ActionScript has been added in the new documentation. This section shows you how to compile an ActionScript2 file. It also explains the process of loading ABC file and converting it into SWF file. One topic under ActionScript section also covers the process of manipulating existing ABC data in an SWF file.

Some additional but useful topics have been covered under miscellaneous section. All of the topics in Programmer's Guide include not only the steps to perform some action along with the explanation, but also complete code snippets, both in C# and VB.NET. In addition to that, we have added code snippets in the Aspose.Flash for .NET API Reference to show you how to use a particular method or class. ActionScript 3 support with ABC to SWF conversion and ABC manipulation is available in Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.2.1

We have released Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.2.1. This latest version of Aspose.Flash for .NET allows you to work with ActionScript 3. In fact, it helps you load ActionScript Byte Code data from an ABC file and convert it to SWF file. DoABC class allows you to create DoABC tag from ABC data. You can also manipulate existing ABC data in an SWF file using ABCFile class. ABCFile allows you to manipulate different constants in the ABC data. It provides various constants arrays for this purpose. It also provides Dump method to convert byte code to pseudo code. We would also like to inform you that Aspose.Flash is compatible with Windows Azure, so you can use it on this new platform as well.

Aspose.Flash for Reporting Services First Version is now available

We have released the first version of Aspose.Flash for Reporting Services. I'm very much pleased to share this good news with you. Aspose.Flash for Reporting Services allows you to convert SQL Server Reporting Services Reports into SWF and FLV formats. You can also integrate it with Microsoft Report Viewer. With the addition of this component in the fleet of Aspose Reporting Services products, you have got more flexibility and options to export your reports. Please download the component and try at your end. You can download the MSI package to automatically install and configure the Aspose.Flash for Reporting Services. However, if you like adventure, we have DLL only package as well!

Convert SWF to FLV

Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.2.0 has been released. This release supports SWF to FLV conversion and FLV video encoding.

Many customers were demanding video conversion features in Aspose.Flash for .NET. Support for SWF to AVI was already present in Aspose.Flash for .NET and now Aspose.Flash for .NET exposes a new API RenderToFlv which can be used to export SWF files to FLV.

Create applications with Flash v10 tags

Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.1.0 has been released. This release supports Flash v10.

In the past, users were experiencing some trouble while manipulating or parsing Flash files that included those Flash v10 tags which were not supported by Aspose.Flash. Now Aspose.Flash fully supports Flash v10 and users can easily manipulate their SWF files that are generated using Flash v8, v9, v10 or Flash Lite because support for Flash v8, v9 and Flash Lite was included in the previous release of Aspose.Flash for .NET and support for Flash v10 has been included in this release.

The Aspose.Flash for .NET 2.1.0 installer includes a separate build for .NET 3.5 and this release also includes some important fixes from previous versions.
