We are receiving the following error when generating a PDF from an XSL FO stylesheet:

Aspose.Pdf.Fo.Basic.ὄ: Nonsensical layout in block after many attempts.loop is without end.Processing halted.
   at Aspose.Pdf.Fo.Ṯ.ᚃ(String Ꮯ, IDictionary ẉ)
   at Aspose.Pdf.Pdf.Save(String pdfFile)

This only started happening when we started using Aspose.Pdf 3.5.3.0, our other server that is still on 3.1.7.0 seems to be able to generate the PDF fine. Can someone please assist?

Thanks for the quick turnaround.
We are testing it in all the places where it needs to work and will get back to you as soon as we have finsihed all testing.

We have tested and are seeing two anamolies.

One: Red text "Evaluation Only" is showing up at the bottom of each page. I assume thi sis because of the experimental nature of the fix.

Two: Some of the pages are showing up completely blocked out with black. Is this a side-effect of the "Evaluation Only" status of the assembly? Or id this an unrelated problem? Or is this a new probelm that we have never experienced before.

The resulting output is attached. The blocked out black pages appear starting page 6 and the blocking out continues on page 9 onwards.

One: The watermark will be disappeared when you set license. If you have laready set license and the watermark is still there please let us know.

When can we expect a released version of these fixes to be available? How can I know whether a particular released version contains the fixes I desire? Simply by comparing the version numbers of the released Aspose.Pdf.dll with the ones you provided here?

Hi,

Usually the dll we provide has a 4 version number like 3.5.6.8. When we publishing official hotfix, the last version number is removed and the 3rd number is increased. So your problem has been fixed in the new hotfix 3.5.7.0.
