    word 2 pdf problem

    Attachment: Present (inaccessible)
I'm testing some word documents to see if the component works fine for us.

But there are many problems, with the converting, because the pdf files mostly did not look like the original word file.

the most problems we are having with floating pictures, and drawing objects.

I've attached some .doc files and the resulting pdf files.
Word_T2.doc --> arrow is converted as line
Word_T6.doc --> images are not positioned correctly

Is there any option to fix the problems, without changing the word files, because that's not an option for us.

    Hi,

I have tested the document and was able to reproduce the error. I have logged this as PDFNET-4064. We will try to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for considering Aspose.Pdf.
For the problem of Word_T2.doc, I found it is caused by Aspose.Words. As the setting of the arrow is not exsist in the intermediate xml file. I will ask Aspose.Words team to give you a solution soon. As a workaround, please use the modified xml which is attached. And the pdf file generated from this xml is also attached.

    For the problem of
Word_T6.doc, I think it is a known issue. Please see:
    http://www.aspose.com/wiki/default.aspx/Aspose.Pdf/Word2PdfKnownIssues.html
Picture Wrapping Style is not supported in our product at present. We hope to support this feature in our future version. But it can't be resolved in short time. So, please avoid to use picuture wrapping style at present.

    Best regards.

    Hello!

This question was already asked in Aspose.Words forum (http://www.aspose.com/Community/Forums/thread/103116.aspx). Now we have been notified that arrows are currently supported in Aspose.Pdf and will implement them soon. This stands for issue #3231. We’ll let you know when we are done with arrows.
